Do you want to make an impact in decarbonizing transportation in Australia. Join us as Service Manager for ABB E-Mobility Australia where you will play a pivotal role in implementing our service strategy, driving service growth, and leading our Service organization. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve performance targets, optimizing the utilization of service resources, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. You will be leading a team and fostering strong customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Reporting to Sales Manager and this position could be based in Notting Hill, Moorebank NSW or Fortitude Valley Queensland, Australia.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assuming responsibility for maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental compliance standards within your area of responsibility
- Fostering a safe work environment by promoting and implementing HSE processes and integrity performance throughout the service organization and providing guidance, motivation, and development opportunities for your direct and indirect subordinates
- Maintaining, building, and certifying a network of service partner organizations to leverage our internal capability to deliver best in class customer reliability
- Driving the implementation of our service strategy as a key member of the management team and collaborating with other business units to ensure consistent implementation of strategic plans within the service organization
- Building a full portfolio of service offerings, including commissioning, connected services, spare parts management, and direct & indirect service level agreements
- Executing the service and channel strategy within your area of responsibility. Implementing agreed service offerings and marketing materials to maximize market penetration besides cultivating sustainable customer relationships to drive growth, satisfaction, and customer retention in collaboration with the sales team
- Overseeing the day-to-day service operations, ensuring profitable growth and improved service productivity, and implementing agreed-upon delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and implement necessary changes to achieve service excellence and increase profitability within your area of responsibility

**Your background**:

- Tertiary qualification in Electrical engineering or related field, with a strong understanding of power electronics, communications and/or software engineering
- Experience in building and leading a high-performance service team
- Sound business knowledge of the commercial aspects of managing and growing a service business, including service accounting, development and implementation of direct and indirect SLAs and predictive maintenance models, developing, training, certifying, and coordinating service partner organizations.
- Energetic, result oriented service leader who wants to work with a small fast-growing team, with a passion for new technologies that will reduce carbon emissions.
- Creative approach to problem solving based on a sound technical foundation. Where there is no road map, you create it
