**Your Role**:
A unique opportunity presents itself for an experienced and qualified **EHS Assurance & Operational Units (OU) Business Partner **to join the team based in either Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane supporting all locations and programs across Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA).
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business is operating in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, while also serving as a liaison between the business and the wider environmental health and safety community. Your new position will be contributing to and supporting the successful delivery of the NGA's Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Environment & Sustainability Strategy (SHWES Strategy) within the NGA OUs.
As the **EHS Assurance & OU Business Partner**, your role entails actively engaging with both the Integrated Systems (IS) and Sustainment and Modernisation Services (SMS) OU's leadership teams. Your responsibilities include identifying safety, health, and environmental needs and requirements of the OUs, reporting on the progress towards achieving these needs, providing advice and input on safety, health, and environment requirements and obligations, as well as assisting with captures/bids, program stand-up, and the compliance assurance program.
To ensure effective delivery on identified requirements, actions, and improvements by the OUs, a strong and collaborative working relationship is required between the EHS Assurance & OU Business Partner and the EHS Operations Manager.

**Everyone Matters**:
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks and employment screening verification.
This position reports to Australia-Fortitude Valley, Queensland, AUS, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 2 locations listed above.
