Senior Site Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team in delivering landmark high-rise apartment and mixed-use projects.

This is a rare opportunity to work with a tier-one integrated developer-builder, managing large-scale multi-residential projects from structure through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee trade activities to ensure compliance with program, quality, and safety.
  • Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) in conjunction with the Site Team and Quality Plan (QP).
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work across all trade packages.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager/EH&S team in preparing project risk registers, project management plans, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure all worker competencies are recorded.
  • Ensure statutory compliance including signage, emergency response, first aid provisions, and site amenities.
  • Maintain accurate records of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) compliance, participate in audits, and report incidents/near misses.
  • Implement corrective actions for non-conformances and maintain plant/equipment records.
  • Supervise site staff, identify development needs, and promote a culture of safety and performance.
  • Provide monthly project reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on high-rise apartment/multi-residential projects.
  • Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Building & Construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
