**About the Role**:

- We are looking for a Communications Coordinator to support BHP's Corporate Communication team. It is a full-time position. The role is based in Melbourne, with flexible work arrangements available.
- The role plays a critical role within Corporate Communications, including providing support to BHP's Corporate Comms leadership team and their teams located around the world.
- In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and manage corporate communications calendar, monthly reporting processes, including liaising with stakeholders on inputs, and compiling reports
- Project manage communications engagements, including content schedules; media training and digital training schedules for the business
- Liaise with executive offices on engagements and logistics (e.g. coordinating with VP Comms, and ELT office on schedules)
- Work closely with VP Comms and VP Comms administrator to co-ordinate team inputs and calendars
- Manage team budget and governance processes including POs, supplier and contractor engagements; brand, sponsorship and events coordination compliance reviews for external events where appropriate

**About You**:
To be successful, you will have strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. You will be a skilled multi-tasker, proactive by nature and know how to navigate your way around a large organisation.
Strong attention to detail and the ability work to deadlines is essential.
Experience within a Communications team is preferred, but not essential.
