Geotechnical Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Specialist to play a key role in guiding project direction through detailed ground investigations, analysis, and design for infrastructure and building projects.
The Opportunity
Plan and manage site investigations, laboratory testing, and associated health and safety requirements with minimal risk exposure.
Conduct geotechnical analysis and design (e.g. foundations, retention systems, earthworks, seismic assessments) for buildings and infrastructure projects with high-quality output.
Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation that meets industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver comprehensive geotechnical solutions that meet client expectations.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and relationship building with key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering) and eligibility for chartership.
3-4 years experience in geotechnical design and construction, with sound knowledge of ground conditions.
Proven ability to deliver geotechnical solutions using industry-standard software and engineering judgement.
Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills with effective interpersonal relationships.
