- **The Role**_Planet Recovery is seeking an experienced "Hands On" Site Supervisor reporting to the site manager to run the Transfer Station operation. This is a large-scale operational site that is multi-faceted including sorting, recycling, waste, and logistics. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our recycling facility ensuring our people are supported and production targets achieved.

**Key Duties**:Implementing strategies to achieve HSE targets, as well as completing sound recycling results and productivities.Developing effective working relationships with all people and to lead and influence othersEnsuring a zero-harm workplace and driving continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies and cost reduction activitiesBuilding and leading strong, cohesive teams.

**Transferable Skills**:A proven ability and experience in supervising operations.

**Must Haves**:Must be Hands onProven track record of leading, engaging and developing effective teams and individualsA well-developed understanding of team dynamics within a diverse cultureDemonstrated ability to manage a Zero Harm work environmentExperienced n managing a blue-collar workforce consisting of employees and contractorsExceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to the audienceExperience in Risk Management and Hazard IdentificationHave strong recycling operations experience.An understanding of EPA regulatory requirementsDemonstrated experience in using computer-based programs, andEffective negotiator with strong stakeholder management skills.An exceptional eye for detail, ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlinesYou will have associated tickets for mobile plant operation and experience in operating applicable machinery.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
