An exciting opportunity exists for a Psycho Educational Trainer on a Ongoing basis in the Forensic Disability Services
Psycho Educational Trainers contribute to the delivery of psycho-educational programs for forensic clients which includes both individual and group-based interventions. Psycho Educational Trainers are also required to prepare progress reports and program evaluations on their clients for key stakeholders of the organisation and includes the need the work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment across residential, custodial and community-based settings. This role operates within a complex and dynamic environment across a range of settings and requires the capacity to understand the complexities of the service delivery environment and the concerns of stakeholders and the broader community.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS POLICY

The department may require its employees to be fully vaccinated against preventable diseases such as the current coronavirus (COVID-19). The department's COVID-19 Vaccination requirements policy (Word) outlines the requirements for existing employees, other workplace participants and prospective employees. Subject to exceptions, only employees or other workplace participants with up-to-date vaccination status (see definitions section of the policy) against COVID-19 and who provide evidence of their Vaccination Status are permitted to work for the department outside their ordinary place of residence. Other mandatory qualifications or requirements for this opportunity include:

- Possession of an Advanced Diploma in Community Services (Disability Work), Bachelor of Applied Science (Intellectual Disability) or other relevant tertiary qualifications recognised within Departmental guidelines as being equivalent.
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
