Key Responsibilities

  • To co-facilitate group treatment and skills-based programs for ID offenders in conjunction with other professionals.
  • Liaise with other staff and external service providers regarding the needs of forensic clients and their families and the provision of appropriate services.
  • Under supervision, prepare and conduct individual psycho-educational training sessions for forensic clients including interventions to assist clients with self-esteem, anger management, mood regulation, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with ID offenders is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment and possess a high level of emotional intelligence.
