Job Opportunity: Foundation Skills Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate trainer to design, plan, deliver, and evaluate training and assessment to students.

The successful candidate will create a teaching environment that embraces diversity and empowers our students to be the best they can be.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our students
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing ongoing support on their learning journey
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters diversity and respect

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. You will also need to have experience delivering nationally accredited pre-accredited Foundation Skills courses and the ability to engage students in a compassionate and understanding way.

Some of the requirements for this role include:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Experience delivering nationally accredited pre-accredited Foundation Skills courses
  • Ability to achieve assessment deliverables and compliance requirements
  • Experience in blended delivery: remote, online, face-to-face, and industry workshops
  • Ability to engage students in a compassionate and understanding way
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker's Screening/Yellow Card (or willingness to gain one if successful)
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence
  • Ability to pass a Police Check
