Alex Fraser is Australia's largest manufacturer of recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.

Our Recycling Industries currently have an opportunity for an experienced **Production Manager** to join our operations. Based out of our Derrimut Head Office and across multiple Recycling Facilities in the Melbourne metro area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily production operations in the recycling facility, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production strategies to meet company goals and KPIs.
- Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Analyse production data and report on performance metrics to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
