This Federal Government organisation is seeking an APS5 Surveillance Technical Officer to join their team for a 3-month period.

**Your new role**

As a Surveillance Technical Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring aviation safety across the nation. Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop standards, processes, and procedures ensuring aviation safety.
- Support activities across all modes of data capturing.
- Deliver quality assurance information and data.
- Manage day-to-day availability and maintenance of the organisation's surveillance systems.
- Contribute to the implementation of outcomes from strategic planning.
- Engage in productive collaborations with internal teams and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As an APS5 Surveillance Technical Officer you'll need too, but not limited to:

- Demonstrate experience in managing administrative support and coordination tasks related to aviation safety.
- Proven skills in facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Understanding of project development processes.
- Understanding of Australia's civil aviation legislation.
- The ability to travel to other office to attend training courses and workshops.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in a similar position is highly desired.

**What you'll get in return**
- 3-month contract (no extension option)
- $50 - $55 per hour plus super
- Full time in the office
- Based on Elizabeth Street, Sydney CBD
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
