Position Purpose This role will support Operational and Corporate Services teams with all recruitment needs and coordinate the administration of prospective employees through the recruitment workflow.
This includes sourcing, attraction and engagement.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be the first point of contact for Recruitment related queries and issues raised by hiring managers and applicants, triaging, responding and/or escalating as required.
What you'll be doing (Key accountabilities) Prepare job advertisements and monitor and respond to applications and enquiries.
Review and shortlist applications with guidance from the TA Lead, where needed.
Liaise with Hiring Manger's to understand position requirements and screen applications accordingly.
Liaise with applicants to arrange interview and selection processes.
Coordinate all safety screening and pre-employment checking.
Prepare contracts of employment, including review of applicant skills and qualifications for classification and grading purposes Support with strategic and operational talent acquisition projects and initiatives.
Your Background (Skills and attributes) Demonstrated experience working within a similar role organising recruitment activities including scheduling interviews; candidate phone screening; candidate shortlisting; and administrative duties.
Proficient in navigating and managing various systems e.g., ATS, MS Office Suite to maintain accurate records and process efficiency.
Ability to exercise initiative and collaborate with senior stakeholders to coordinate interviews and gather feedback.
Experience with pre-employment checks would be advantageous.
Solution focused mindset with exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and self-management skills; approachable, flexible, and adaptable.
Creative and lateral thinking for problem-solving, with the ability to handle matters with sensitivity and confidentiality; resilient and autonomous.
Relevant qualification beneficial, however not mandatory.
Requirements A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
The ability and relevant driver's license to perform travel to Melba Office locations.
Compliance with OHS&W regulations, legislation, and Policies and Procedures is required.Successful completion of pre-employment safety screening checks, mandatory training, and their subsequent renewals is necessary.

Observe safe systems of work.
Follow OHS&W policies and procedures.
Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with the agreed incident reporting system.
