Your new role:

This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity if you are passionate about people, wants to work on the full range of HR services across the employee life-cycle HR services, make an impact, and be part of a company that is on a growth path.

Working closely with the Head of People and Culture you will:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment, including role scoping and job definition, advertising, CV reviewing and shortlisting, candidate screening, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation.
  • Manage the employee life cycle and cyclical events, including onboarding, induction, probation and performance management, learning and development, employee relations, employee engagement, life events and mobility through to offboarding
  • Provide comprehensive HR operational support, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, managing performance evaluation processes, facilitating annual reviews, and addressing any employee concerns related to HR matters.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Monitor HR metrics and analyse data to identify trends, suggesting improvements in HR processes and strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organisation remains competitive in terms of HR policies, practices, and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.

Why you'll be a great fit:

  • Demonstrate experience in providing innovative internal end-to end recruitment services and Human Resources administration, and ideally have qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline
  • An excellent communicator with strong influencing, coaching, partnering and negotiation skills
  • Be a brand ambassador
  • Have high energy and resilience and be proactive and collaborative in your approach
  • A strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using HRIS (ideally Employment Hero)
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task, excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive HR initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role and aware of best practice initiatives
