Additional Information
Position type: Permanent, full-time (Hybrid)
Internal job title: IKEA Business Field Sales Specialist
Work location: Customer Service Centre (RCMP), Tempe NSW
Working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, occasional after-hours to attend events
Pre-employment checks: final candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment check, including a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Mobility: a valid driver\'s license is required for customer visits, trade shows and other events
As B2B Account Representative you are or have
Broad knowledge of the B2B market landscape, especially in SMB segments
Strong understanding of sales processes, customer behaviours (online and offline), and market dynamics
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
Proficiency in preparing proposals and presentations
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – you're a natural connector
Ability to prioritise, make decisions quickly, and follow through with impact
A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across teams and functions
About this work area
As B2B Account Representative you'll play a key role in growing our B2B customer base. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Drive new business acquisition and direct sales through outbound engagement with small-medium business (SMB) customers
Be the key point of contact for your customer portfolio, ensuring a seamless and satisfying customer journey
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality solutions that meet customer needs
Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics
Facilitate negotiations and support contract finalisation in collaboration with legal and internal stakeholders
Represent IKEA at trade shows and industry events, staying connected to market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building
