ESL Australia is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic **Project Coordinator** with a passion for video games & esports to join our project team. This is an entry level position and although no experience is required, event/project/product management graduates or those with event or project management experience will be highly regarded.
The project management team at ESL Australia are behind the planning and operations of Australia's largest esports events, including IEM Sydney, Melbourne Esports Open, the PAX Arena esports stage and many more. **The Role**
As the Project Coordinator, you will work with the broader Project and Product teams to bring our esports events and programs to life. You will research and book suppliers, create schedules and rosters, book travel and accommodation, create and contribute to event floor plans and much more. You will eventually contribute to all facets of event management, including liaising with clients and partners, venues and sponsors, as well as contribute to and manage event budgets.
Naturally you will be a strong communicator with the ability to pick up skills and processes quickly while on the job. Having the ability to work in a team, often working to tough deadlines is vital, as is being flexible to work on gigs during evenings and weekends. Esports never sleeps and this isn't your typical 9-5 job

**Core Responsibilities**
- Work with the Project Management team to execute project tasks and assist with day to day activities
- Aid in development of ESL and Publisher esports campaigns
- Create and work to project timelines and schedules
- Create and share presentations and respond to briefs
- Liaise and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the best outcome for ESL and our clients
- Contribute to and/or manage event budgets, ensuring efficiencies and proper const control is maintained
- Research and book flights, accommodation, transfers etc
- Work closely with the TM (Tournament Management) team to produce rulebooks and other assets for use in tournaments and programs
- General office duties and project assistance
**Job Requirements**
- Although not required formal qualifications or experience in Project Management, Event Management (e.g. CAPM, PMP) or similar is highly regarded.
- You _must _be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Experience with the Google Suite of tools including Sheets and Slides is highly desirable.
- You need to work well under pressure, in a fast paced environment.
- You should be a strong communicator and able to handle the basics of negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Be hungry to learn and be great at retaining information.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in esports and gaming is not required, but a passion for gaming is a must
- Although most work will be during normal business hours, having availability to work flexible hours such as late night, overnight and weekends is a must.
