**About the role**
Based in Perth, you will travel throughout Western Australia to drive and develop business opportunities within the electrical and industrial industries. This is an important position within the National Accounts team, where you will maintain and target relationships within specific industry verticals and report directly to the National Accounts Manager.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, researching and generating new target prospects.
- Building relationships and converting target prospects into sales agreements.
- Solution selling and adding genuine value to our customer's business.
- Working in collaboration with your team to deliver first class, tailored proposals.
- Negotiating and closing sales opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.
- Possessing a strong understanding of our products, solutions, and industry positioning.
- Following the latest industry developments and understanding the competitive landscape.
**About you**
- Tenacious sales professional with at least two years account management experience.
- Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Highly developed commercial acumen and the ability to add-value to customer operations.
- Work in a completely autonomous role with the self-motivation to succeed.
- Proficient with computer technology and systems, MS suite, reporting, CRM
