About the role

As a Performance Partner, you'll collaborate closely with Executive and Senior Leaders to influence strategic decision-making and enhance enterprise performance outcomes.

Sitting within our Financial Planning & Analysis team, your role will be pivotal in providing commercial insights, financial analytics and constructive challenge to support planning, business case development, benefits management, and operational execution.

You will drive the financial accountability and performance mindset across Urban Utilities—linking strategy to outcomes, shaping performance frameworks, and delivering compelling data-driven insights that inform business direction.

What you'll do
- Lead financial and operational planning for key business functions
- Provide commercial analysis and support business case development
- Develop and implement benefit tracking frameworks across major projects
- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance reporting
- Build strong relationships with executives to embed finance into decision-making
- Partner with data and reporting teams to translate insights into strategic action
- Contribute to the uplift of financial capability across the organisation

About you

You're a collaborative, commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a strategic partnering environment. You bring strong analytical capability and business acumen, and are confident navigating ambiguity to influence performance outcomes.

To be successful, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification (essential)
- 6-10 years of experience in commercial finance roles within large, complex businesses
- Demonstrated ability to lead planning, analysis, and business advisory activities
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
- A mindset of ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement
