You will engage with hedge fund clients to understand their investment needs, provide insights, and deliver tailored solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple departments in the Macquarie Equities regional platform to collect and generate data for investment opportunities and production of sales periodic notes. You will utilise your financial modelling skills to support client recommendations across broad based strategies, whilst working closely with internal stakeholders to provide insights on market sentiment and investment opportunities.
You will work closely with the senior team leader on all marketing and transaction execution activities with an emphasis on financial analysis. You will prepare financial models, monitors and pitch books for marketing and transaction execution purposes. In addition, you will also model predicted returns on market neutral strategies to support recommendations and attend relevant meetings and industry conferences.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends
- Highly numerate with proficiency in financial modelling, excel macros and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and conciselyPrior experience in equity sales, quantitative strategies, trading, or research is highly desirable. Any relevant Merger & Acquisitions documentation/process experience is also highly regarded but not essential
