Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive net asset value calculations for complex hedge funds, collaborating closely with senior fund accountants, supervisors, and/or assistant vice presidents.
  • Administer services pursuant to administration agreements for a portfolio of hedge funds.
  • Prepare Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements, and associated reports, aiming to operate independently within deadlines.
  • Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations for hedge funds.
  • Maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, auditors, and other fund participants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related area, or studying for a professional accounting qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in a high-volume operational environment and/or the hedge fund industry.
  • Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry.
  • Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc).
