
Team Leader Mortgage Operations

**How will I help?**
As a Team Leader you will be a key Member of the Mortgage Operations Team within the Group Operations. The Team Leader contributes to this vision by leading and inspiring a team to learn, develop and continually grow to deliver effective outcomes that ensure the right solutions for our customers and maximise commercial outcomes for the business.
The Leadership and Support stream contributes to this vision by being customer focussed to meet their home lending needs through leading the business both strategically and operationally to deliver superior customer outcomes or through supporting the leadership teams to deliver these outcomes.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Be responsible and actively participate in building a proud culture that is passionate and high performing in delivering improvements that exceed customer needs, financial targets and balanced with meeting compliance requirements.
- Proactively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency, risk, and compliance outcomes by working closely with cross-functional teams across the organisation.
- Provide an exceptional service experience for our internal and external customers by being a role model.
- Build positive relationships and strong engagement with the Mortgage Operations Team and key internal and external stakeholders and respective partnerships.
- Actively promote a strong risk culture

**What do I need?**
You will have previous team management experience within a financial institution, preferably within an Operations or Lending (ideal) capacity. Your communication skills will be excellent, both written and verbal, and you are able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels of seniority. You will be resilient and have strong time management skills.
