Job Title: Digital Content Developer
We are seeking a skilled Digital Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content that meets the needs of our stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills in producing high-quality digital content, as well as strong self-management skills and ability to work independently within an environment of change and ambiguity.
The role involves converting technical, process-driven, and supporting documents into web pages and other interactive digital content. You will be working closely with the team to develop and maintain a SharePoint-based formal document management system.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop content in SharePoint that supports staff to effectively interact with business units
Adhere to team processes, including content publication, creating, editing, reviewing, and archiving digital content
Assist in the curation of Commission documentation and the team's digital asset library
Develop site maps and page templates
Contribute to documenting the team's processes
Respond to Service Desk requests and incidents
Essential Requirements:
Able to read, understand and interpret technical information to produce engaging digital content
Able to estimate time to complete technical requirements and report effectively
Effective communication skills, including ability to build productive working relationships and present complex information
Strong technical skills in SharePoint, Visio, and DevOps, and/or demonstrated aptitude in learning new technologies
Desirable Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint site administration
Knowledge of SharePoint content management and creation
Project Management skills and DevOps/Agile methodologies
