About the Role

  • The Digital UX and Development Team is responsible for the functionality and user experience delivered on the department's corporate websites and intranet.">
  • The Digital UX and Development Team Lead works with the Manager, Digital Communications and Engagement and the Digital Content Team Lead to develop and maintain the department's corporate websites and intranet as user-friendly resources for internal and external users.">

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Digital UX Developers and contribute to the development of the department's digital communications roadmap.">
  • Ensure the quality assurance, maintenance, functionality, and availability of the department's digital communications platforms.">
  • Manage the team's workload, forward planning, and prioritization to ensure the delivery of key functionality and user experiences.">

Qualifications

  • ">
  • Minimum 8 years' experience working within a digital communications, development, or service operations role.">
  • Experience working in a large and complex government agency, with experience in DXPs, enterprise-level CMS, SEO, and WCAG 2.1.">

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications, web development, accessibility, or user experience.">

  • The successful applicant must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment.">
