Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Allpress Espresso Full time

**About Us**

A great experience means more than just a delicious flat white. A friendly encounter and a great cup of coffee have the ability to transform someone's day. The knowledge and insight we have gained from running cafés around the world means we know what it takes to deliver a quality experience, day after day. Our cafés are working billboards, where we carefully & confidently show what makes us us.

**About the role**

As the VIC Technical Manager reporting to the VIC Regional Manager, you'll lead our technical operations across the state, bringing together a high-performing team of espresso machine specialists to deliver best-in-class service to our customers.

You will:

- Lead, coach and support the VIC Technical Team to ensure exceptional technical support and service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in technical operations, focusing on speed, quality, and customer experience.
- Oversee scheduling, callouts, installs, inventory and parts management across the region.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing within the team and across Allpress.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers (e.g. La Marzocco), customers, and internal teams.
- Coordinate team resourcing, performance reviews, and ongoing technical training.
- Work closely with Sales, Training, and Customer Service to ensure seamless support and proactive problem-solving.
- Represent the Allpress brand as an approachable expert in every customer interaction and leadership moment.

This is a full-time role based in Collingwood. You'll be part of a national technical leadership group and play a key role in shaping how we support coffee excellence across the country.

**About you**
- You're a strong people leader — organised, approachable, and experienced in motivating skilled technicians.
- You know your way around commercial espresso equipment and have the confidence to support a team across technical callouts, installs, and service workflows.
- You're systems-savvy and able to manage inventory, scheduling and reporting processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- You take pride in delivering responsive, high-quality service to customers.
- You're proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement — both in your own work and your team's.

**Working at Allpress**

In addition to great company culture, we offer some nice staff perks, including as much free coffee as you like while at work, 250g of beans to take home weekly, a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing allowances and referral bonus. Allpress also offers parental leave to eligible employees

- Building inclusive teams that represent all groups in society.
- Empowering our people to continuously improve the way we work and promote equity.
- Removing barriers and the influence of bias.
- Creating a safe environment where we're encouraged to speak out against discrimination in any form.
- Cultivating a sense of belonging by encouraging our people to fearlessly bring their whole selves to work.
