Senior Civil Engineer role at Jacobs – Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Jacobs is seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil & Aviation team in Melbourne.
You will work on diverse, multidisciplinary transport projects in a collaborative environment that supports professional growth.
What you'll do
Deliver technically excellent designs – develop civil, earthworks and drainage designs using 12d software, applying relevant technical standards, guidelines and industry best practices.
Work on multidisciplinary transport projects – apply broad civil engineering and 12d modelling skills across civil, aviation and other transport infrastructure projects.
Lead innovative projects – lead projects and work packages in design management or project management roles, interfacing with other disciplines to achieve project objectives.
Build client relationships – engage directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Shape the future – contribute to proposal development and business growth opportunities.
Mentor and develop talent – guide junior engineers and support team growth through knowledge sharing.
Collaborate globally – work with international teams to maximise delivery capabilities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Civil Engineering qualification.
Proficiency in civil analysis and modelling software (12d).
Proficiency in civil earthworks and drainage design modelling.
Knowledge of local Australian standards and guidelines.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Project and/or team leadership experience.
Passion for delivering high-quality, safe design solutions.
