**About the role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the Warehouse in which stocks a significant and diverse range of SKU's. Located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, this is a key role within the site leadership team responsible for managing a team of 15+, including 2 supervisors across 2 shifts.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience as a manager within a cold stores environment. You will have full exposure to the successful management of a busy FMCG warehouse environment, with particular focus on efficiently managing people, labour, safety, stock/inventory control, costs and budgets, reporting and KPI's.

**Key responsibilities**
- Supervise the warehouse team on safe operations and productivity
- Promote an environment which empowers the team and supports continuous improvement
- Regular team communications including toolbox talk meetings
- Manage incoming/outgoing goods, storage, and paperwork
- Co-ordinate stock movements and liaise between suppliers, customers, internal staff
- Issuing order picking and stock storage instructions
- Manage picking and receiving accuracy rates, including KPI's
- Maximise warehouse storage capacity by properly organizing pallet locations and floor space
- Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes onsite
- Inventory control and stock integrity
- Provide weekly reporting data to senior management
- Manage cost base and budget
- Labour forecasting and planning, minimising overtime

**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years' experience as a senior leader in a warehouse management position within large volume food/perishables/FMCG distribution
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 10+ in fast paced environments
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Proven to have managed operations with clear deadlines to meet dispatch scheduling
- Flexible, resilient, level-headed to handle pressures and challenges as they arise
- Ability to think and work strategically as a senior site leader
- Tertiary qualifications in Transport and Logistics or similar
- Relevant licences including SA car and forklift
