Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the efficiency of assigned production machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre-start inspections to ensure machine safety, cleanliness, and correct setup.
  • Operate and monitor production machinery, adjusting key operational parameters under guidance to ensure consistent and efficient production flow.
  • Ensure product quality by conducting routine in-process inspections of materials and products at various stages of production.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, identifying and responding to common machine alarms and stoppages.
  • Maintain workplace hygiene by assisting with cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly of equipment.
  • Record production data accurately in relevant systems for traceability and performance tracking.
Requirements:
  • Certificate II or III in Food Processing.
  • A current Food Handling Certificate.
  • Experience with production management systems such as SCADA, SAP, or similar.
  • Previous hands-on experience with specific food processing machinery.
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a high-risk food manufacturing environment.
  • Practical experience operating and monitoring Cleaning in Process (CIP) systems on production machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience with food safety practices (HACCP, GMP) and process reporting.
