**About the client**

Northern suburbs Australian Freight Forwarders head office and management team with 8 staff, a national presence and growth plans to further their stronghold in the south-east Asian market. Succession plan for growth internally and brainstorming sessions for all leadership teams to bring forward new ideas.

**About the role**

Covering both import sea and air operations and cartage duties, whilst leading the imports team as the go to for any issues internally or externally. Building on already set procedures and processes with your own spin and feel for what can help the team grow and be more efficient for the client and business as a whole.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Import Air & Sea operations and cartage duties
- Notifications, client, line, provider and co-load contact daily
- Cargo automation & Invoicing
- End of month profitability
- Supervise a team of 4
- HR duties for said team
- Implement new process and procedures through link ups with management

**Skills & Experience**
- Freight Forwarding background
- Import operations skills and understanding
- Leadership experience advantageous, but not essential
- Cartage skills
- Cargowise / CW1 exposure desirable
- End of month job close exposure
- Problem solving & presentation skills, advantagous
