In short, our approach is to support a person in the way that most helps them transform their life, in pursuit of our belief that work's for everyone.Job DescriptionWellness Advisors have a diverse and role, offering opportunity to assist job seekers who have complex health-related barriers to employment by conducting assessments, undertaking a variety of therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and providing recommendations to appropriate vocational and non-vocational supports.This is a permanent opportunity.Full time hours available, Part time hours will be consideredKey duties of the role will include:Conduct thorough assessments of clients with a range of disabilities and barriers to employment, including functional capacity assessments, needs assessments and job task analyses and more.Develop strategies and interventions to improve functional capacity and work-readiness; Outline recommendations for services, supports and interventionsDeliver intervention as needed, utilising a holistic approach and a broad range of therapeutic methodologies;Refer clients to additional external support services to help address barriers to employment;Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases.Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of clientsProvide guidance and guidance to atWork staff on work practices and procedures to prevent and/or minimise exacerbation of health symptoms and facilitate successful entry into employment.QualificationsA qualification in Occupational therapy and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Understanding of multidisciplinary barriers to employment.Experience in delivering person-centered Occupational Therapy services within community or rehabilitation services.Experience of working within employment services highly regarded.Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement.Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's CheckAdditional InformationWhat we will give you:A competitive salary depending on experience.Laptop + PhoneFlexible working arrangementsOngoing career development and national opportunities;Job stability and guaranteed full-time hoursAccess to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance and paid parental leave.You are welcome here.Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking.
