**About this opportunity**:
We currently have a new opportunity for a HR professional to take a step in their career and join our successful People and Culture team at our Head Office in Greenhills, East Maitland. This is a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours in a great working environment. In this role you will provide generalist Human Resources advice and support that delivers business outcomes, enables performance, and drives a positive workplace culture.

Key areas include:

- Provide support, advice and guidance on all employee relations matters including; general enquiries, disciplinary & WHS
- Support managers with various investigations, including grievance, disciplinary and workers compensation claims
- Guide and coach managers to take ownership of their people matters
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels with a focus on finding people focused resolutions
- Continuous improvement of our HR processes and procedures

We are looking for a passionate and experienced or emerging People and Culture Advisor with the ability to build positive relationships grounded in trust and integrity and can communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

To be successful you will need:

- Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a HR generalist role
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Proven skills in exercising effective perspective, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations
- Common sense, logical thinking
- Sense of humor and the ability to have a laugh with the rest of us
