OverviewBorder Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Forklift Operator/Parcel Sorter to join the team at our Mackay Branch.This role involves pallet breakdown, labelling and sorting of parcel freight and cartons, loading and unloading of trucks and running freight.
A strong knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas is highly advantageous.Schedule: Monday to Friday - Casual hours and ratesResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts and assist with pallet breakdown, labelling and sorting of parcel freight and cartonsLoad and unload trucks and manage freight movementMaintain parcel processing records and all required documentationCommunicate with team and supervisors to meet schedules and escalate issues related to processes, safety and operationsQualifications and SkillsExperience in the transport industryA valid Forklift licence is essentialAbility to adhere to WHS and Safety RegulationsA high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive liftingGreat local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areasAbility to work unsupervisedAbout Border ExpressAt Border Express we are committed 100% to providing the very best supply chain services for Australia.
