About the role
As a Civil Engineer at BYH Builders', you will play a crucial role in the design and construction of major building projects in the Perth metropolitan area.
This full-time position will see you collaborating closely with the broader engineering and construction teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that drive the growth and success of the business.
What you'll be doing
Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to inform the planning and design of new civil engineering project
Liaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
Providing on-site supervision and technical support during the construction phase
Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's engineering practices and procedures
Scheduling jobs while managing subcontractors to deliver job on time.
Coordinating with trades to get work done on time keeping in mind the Australian sand BYH standards.
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Chartered status with Engineers Australia or eligibility for chartered membership
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar civil engineering role, preferably within the construction industry
Strong technical skills in areas such as residential building and sub division.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in the use of industry-standard design and analysis software
