Job Description
We are growing and are seeking a Triage Injury Management Consultant to work on a full-time basis. This role connects with injured employees and their managers to support them through workplace injuries by offering injury triage, first aid advice, support and linking them to available services and resources. You will work in a Triage Team dedicated to providing personalised health management support and advice to employees who have sustained injuries at work, using your clinical experience in a corporate work environment. The work is undertaken telephonically and can be performed from home or office.
Responsibilities
Provide empathy-driven care to improve personal health and wellbeing goals.
Coordinate supports and wellbeing services for a highly engaged client population.
Provide initial early intervention triage with clients, supporting both physical and mental health services.
Coordinate relevant case activities including liaison with stakeholders, provision of email updates, and documentation such as treatment plans as required.
Qualifications
Experienced Allied Health practitioner (Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, etc.) with full registration or a Registered Nurse.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
First Aid (level 2) or Basic Life Support training from a hospital setting.
Caring and empathic nature.
Experience in care coordination or occupational rehabilitation is desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good IT and time management skills.
Strong customer service focus.
