The Department

SBS Technology' ¯can be thought of as the' ¯'engine room' of SBS. Our primary role is to enable and support the production, distribution, and transmission of content across television, radio, and online platforms. Our teams achieve this by working collaboratively to design innovative solutions and deliver end-to-end services for our business stakeholders.

About The Role

Empower a thriving workplace at SBS as our Facilities & Contracts Manager. As our Facilities & Contracts Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a seamless and efficient workplace experience across our entire SBS business.
- Leadership Expert:' ¯Guide our Workplace & Property Services team to deliver exceptional customer service through our internal facilities helpdesk.
- Contractor Specialist:' ¯Oversee the entire contractor lifecycle - from development and implementation to management and reporting on contractor performance. Ensure we get the best value and service every time.
- Project Leader:' ¯Lead and deliver workplace and property projects, encompassing both soft and hard facility management aspects. Keep our operations running smoothly 24/7.
- Tech Powerhouse:' ¯Manage the provision of telecommunications and video conferencing solutions across SBS, including VoIP and mobile solutions. Keep us connected and collaborating seamlessly.
- Compliance Champion:' ¯Ensure SBS adheres to all relevant statutory and WHS requirements. Your keen eye for detail will keep us safe and compliant.
- Vendor Relationship Manager:' ¯Build strong relationships with vendors and contractors to leverage their expertise and secure the best value for SBS.

About you

Ideally, you will be a:

- Problem-Solving Pro:' ¯You possess a "hands-on" approach and a "can-do" attitude, tackling challenges head-on and finding creative solutions.
- Prioritization Powerhouse:' ¯You excel at juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and mitigating risks with a proactive approach.
- Compliance Champion:' ¯You have a sound understanding WHS legislation, and Quality Assurance processes. Keeping us safe and compliant is your priority.
- Experienced Leader:' ¯You bring a minimum of 7 years' experience in a supervisory or facility management setting, either in-house or client-side.
- Learning & Development Champion:' ¯Developing and motivating your team is a passion. You foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Budgeting Boss:' ¯You're comfortable managing budgets and contributing to compelling business cases to secure resources.
