Disability Support Worker - Community Access (Mansfield, Benalla, Wangaratta)
Yooralla's Community Access Services located in Mansfield, Benalla and Wangaratta have great opportunities on offer for motivated individuals who want to make a difference. As a member of our Community Access Teams, you will be supporting children, teenagers and adults with a disability to actively participate in their community and within their home. Flexible hours to accommodate study or personal commitments.

Responsibilities
Support adults with disability to get out and about in the community, one-on-one or in groups, mostly in the community, and occasionally in clients' homes.
Assist with a wide range of recreation and social activities, shopping, appointments and events.
Support daily living and personal care needs, including meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility.
About You / Qualifications
Passionate, with a great attitude and eagerness to learn; align with Yooralla's values.
Positive approach, initiative and self-motivation.
Commitment to empowering clients and upholding quality and safeguards in everyday work.
Effective communication skills and good English literacy to communicate well with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
Willingness to support clients with personal care activities.
Australian Driver Licence.
Right to work in Australia.
Ability to get a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don't already have one.
A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience or an interest in community services would be great; if not, you will receive training and support from Yooralla.
NDIS Worker Screening Check will be required.
