Overview

Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – [Wangaratta] – At Scope, we celebrate people. This is a permanent, part-time role located in Wangaratta.

Responsibilities
  • Support customers with daily tasks and goals through a person-centred approach
  • Manage a monthly rotating roster with 43.5/41.75 fortnightly splits, including early mornings and sleepover shifts
  • Apply experience in the disability sector, including managing behaviours of concern with a calm, confident approach
  • Build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalence) is highly desirable
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year within the last ten years
