Yooralla's Community Access Services located in Mansfield, Benalla, and Wangaratta have great opportunities for motivated individuals who want to make a difference. As a member of our Community Access Teams, you will support children, teenagers, and adults with a disability to actively participate in their community and at home. A day in the life of a Community and Recreation Disability Support Worker at Yooralla

Supporting clients towards their goals, engaging in recreation and social activities, shopping, appointments, and events. Assisting with daily living and personal care needs, including meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility.

We seek passionate individuals with a positive attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn. You should share Yooralla's values and demonstrate:

- A positive approach, self-motivation, and initiative
- Commitment to empowering clients and upholding quality and safety standards
- Effective communication skills and good English literacy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
- Willingness to support personal care activities
- Australian Driver Licence
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certificates if not already held

A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant experience, or interest in community services is preferred, but not mandatory. Yooralla provides training and support, including opportunities to work and study concurrently. Transferable skills are also valued.

You will be subject to an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
