Yooralla's Community Access Services located in Mansfield, Benalla, and Wangaratta offer great opportunities for motivated individuals who want to make a difference. A day in the life of a Community and Recreation Disability Support Worker at Yooralla

Supporting clients in activities such as recreation, social events, shopping, appointments, and daily living tasks including personal care, meal prep, and mobility assistance.

We seek passionate individuals with a positive attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn. You will share Yooralla's values and demonstrate:

• A positive approach, self-motivation, and initiative
• Commitment to empowering clients and upholding quality and safety standards
• Effective communication skills and good English literacy
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
• Willingness to support personal care activities
• Australian Driver Licence
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certificates if not already held

Qualifications like a Certificate IV in Disability, relevant experience, or interest in community services are beneficial, but not mandatory as Yooralla offers training and support, including opportunities to work and study simultaneously. Transferable skills are also valued.

You will be required to pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
