**Your main responsibilities will include**
- Complete customer pre-screening checks for broker introduced customers to ensure all required KYC, ID/V & support docs have been completed correctly prior to formal credit assessment
- Meet broker, proprietary and customer expectations in terms of efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and warmth
- Maintain an understanding of HSBC mortgage products and services
- Liaise with Underwriting Services, Brokers & Proprietary, DocuPREP & settlement agent (FMS)
Requirements
**To be successful in this role, you will need**
- Strong interpersonal and empathy skills with strong decision making and ability to deliver
- Previous experience in a Retail Banking mortgages role preferred
- Understanding of core products, Premier proposition, and familiar with retail banking product processes
- Solid knowledge of appropriate mortgage operational procedures
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory governance in market
- To consistently meet and exceed customer expectations through superior customer service
