Australian Carers Guide is a National publication, based in Bayswater (home based office), Melbourne, who are on the look-out for a new Administrative Assistant / Domestic Assistant to join our team. We are a well-respected and reputable operator in the community, known for delivery of high-quality and informative content to the hard-working Carers of our most vulnerable.

We're looking for an experienced and need-driven driven Personal Assistant, preferably with prior PA or administrative experience, to assist the Managing Director, in both an administrative capacity and a domestic capacity.
- **The Role**_

The main aim of this role is to provide administrative assistance and domestic assistance to the Managing Director, including but not limited to:
Administration
- General administrative duties
- Utilisation of FileMaker Pro
- Preparation and monitoring of advertising booking sheets
- MD's diary management
- Organisation of MD's working space, as needed
- Mail preparation
- Running of errands (own reliable car)
- Miscellaneous ad-hoc duties
- Proof-reading of articles
- And more

Domestic tasks
- Maintaining kitchen
- Coffee/tea/breakfast/lunch preparation (not necessarily all, but as required)
- Bed Linen change and laundering
- Daily walk of small dog
- Running of errands (own reliable car)
- And more
- **What kind of person will succeed in this role?**_
- Preferably have Australian driver's licence and access to own, reliable transport to run errands.
- Minimum 2 years' administration experience, and preferably PA experience.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work well under pressure with tight deadlines, and willing to set aside current task to attend to and assist MD.
- Self-motivated, autonomous worker - remains focused on the task at hand with mínimal supervision.
- Preferably helicopter-parent tendencies
- Love of small dogs

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
