Wilmar Ingredients within Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager - Sweetener Ingredients to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity, based at our Yarraville, VIC head office. Reporting to the Industrial Sales Manager, this role will play a crucial part in leading the long-term profitable growth of our sweetener and functional food portfolios within Wilmar Ingredients.

**Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Overseeing the sweetener range and related functional foods to ensure quality and competitiveness.
- Developing and managing relationships with overseas manufacturers, focusing on pricing, specifications, and supplier performance.
- Managing key customer accounts to drive business continuity and identify growth opportunities.
- Providing technical insights and market analysis on competitors and trends.
- Identifying and pursuing new product development opportunities within the sweetener portfolio.
- Implementing strategies to grow the sweetener range and enhance our market position.
- Monitoring sales forecasts and stock levels, ensuring uninterrupted supply and addressing quality issues as needed.

**What we're wanting you to bring to the table**:
This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in the Australian Food & Beverage industry and a strong background in account management. You should have:

- A tertiary qualification in Product Management, Account Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Australian Food & Beverage industry.
- Experience in Product Management and Key Account Management.
- Experience in ingredients' selling B2B with non-sugar alternatives is desirable.
- Experience in new product development and market research leading to successful launches.
- Proven ability to generate new sales on a profitable basis and maintain ongoing business relationships.
- Ability to develop good customer and supplier relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, particularly in costings and profitability.

We have a long history of importing key ingredients in the functional food, non-sugar sweeteners, cosmetic ingredients and basic Oleochemicals portfolios. Most of our ingredients are manufactured by Wilmar through our global footprint. Our key customers are food and beverage, complimentary healthcare, personal and home care manufacturers.
