Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant
About the Job Opportunity
This is a challenging and rewarding role to join our financial team as a Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of month-end ledger close processes.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Establish and maintain month-end ledger close processes by coordinating with overseas local teams, the Integration Accounting team, the Transaction Services Manager, and the Corporate Accounting team.
In charge of month-end close activities for relevant controlled ledgers, including preparation of balance sheet and P&L movement commentaries.
Support the implementation of the new ERP system for assigned ledgers, including user system testing, data validation, and process alignment as required.
Assist in the preparation of revenue and expenditure forecasts for the acquired business on a quarterly basis.
Provide interim support for various operational tasks related to acquired ledgers until full integration into the group is completed.
Mentor junior team members (Financial Accountants and Graduate Accountant).
Manage and forecast cash flow for the acquired business in collaboration with the Treasury Team.
Contribute to the preparation of the cross-entity schedules to support acquisition accounting and intercompany recharge processes.
Support local statutory audits and group audit requirements for relevant controlled ledgers.
