
Principal Planning Officer, Health Service Planning

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate and undertake complex health service planning activities across the SCHHS under the broad direction of the Manager, interpreting policy and implementing objectives within the unit to meet the planning and data needs of the health service.
- Undertake research, analyse issues and priorities identified through data analysis and develop recommendations and advice supporting the development and review of strategic policy and service planning.
- Manage designated planning activities, undertaking a partnering role with business stakeholders to identify evidence-based planning needs such as service redesign activities and projects focused on enhancing alternative models of care, service plans and, where relevant, service re-orientation in line with local, state and national directives.
- Plan, scope, and schedule activities to complete projects and work in accordance with agreed timeframes and deliverables, monitoring workflow, demands and output and ensuring that Health Service Planning aligns with other corporate projects (e.g., facilities redevelopments).
