This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre experienced Banker to make a difference at a senior level by making Stress Testing "a way of life" at Westpac.

**How will I help?**

The Stress Testing team within Risk Analytics & Portfolio Insights (Deputy CRO) is responsible for Westpac's group stress testing activities.

This critical function has 10 direct reports and owns the full end-to-end planning, management and production of multiple firm wide stress testing deliverables. This includes regulatory, internal annual, ad hoc and specific deep dives. Where results, analysis and insights are provided to Senior Management and the Board and regulators for review and approval as part of key business planning, risk management and financial resilience planning.

This is a high profile activity with expectations of high standards of delivery. As Head of a team of highly capable and motivated professionals, you will provide day to day operational management and identify and lead continuous improvements to enhance capabilities.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you'll have extensive experience in banking and financial service with at least 5 years of deep experience in Stress Testing, analysing, and evaluating stressed economic scenarios. You'll possess comprehensive knowledge of banking capital frameworks and regulatory stress test requirements gained in UK and/or US banking industry.

You're an excellent communicator and have the ability to work collaboratively across the Bank with multiple stakeholders, engaging with senior business and risk leaders, Group Executives and the Board to review, challenge and interpret results.
