ESG solutions enable investors to develop and integrate responsible investing policies and practices, engage on responsible investment issues, and monitor portfolio company practices through screening solutions. It also provides climate data, analytics, and advisory services to help financial market participants understand, measure, and act on climate-related risks across all asset classes. In addition, ESG solutions cover corporate and country ESG research and ratings enabling its clients to identify material social and environmental risks and opportunities.

OVERVIEW

Climate Solutions is a unit within ISS ESG, the responsible investment business of ISS. As investors seek to gain a better understanding of their exposure to climate-related risks, Climate Solutions provides data, analytics and advisory services to support financial market participants and governments to understand, measure, and act on climate-related risks and its impact on investments across all asset classes. ISS ESG Climate Solutions is a market leader within its field and highly innovative.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the implementation of advisory mandates and bespoke data deliveries of ISS ESG Climate Solutions- Conduct climate impact analysis of investment portfolios across all asset classes- Support sales with client requests- Support colleagues and clients on advisory offerings of ISS ESG Climate Solutions including support on day to day communications, operations and report writing.- Support team with quantitative analysis and research on climate strategies of companies.

QUALIFICATIONS- A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience relating to data analytics or climate change- Advanced university degree ideally in environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, expertise in financial (ESG) topics is a bonus- Demonstrated interest in climate change in general- Specific knowledge in investment carbon footprinting, climate impact assessments of investments, GHG-accounting, or Life Cycle Analysis- Very strong quantitative (and qualitative) analytical skills and excellent conceptual thinking aptitude-
- Understanding of Data science, Machine Learning and good working knowledge of Python is a bonus- Excellent oral and written command of English (Swedish, French or Spanish is a bonus)- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer-first attitude- Willingness to work with a highly collaborative, flexible and innovative team across different locations- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
