Ready to be at the heart of a scaling business? As our **Business Operations Lead**, you'll play a key role in driving internal operational efficiency, enhancing experiences for our team and our clients as well as supporting our leaders. You'll own key internal processes, implement strategies to support our growth, nurture relationships with vendors and clients, and help deliver impactful people initiatives—all while ensuring We Are Charlotte runs smoothly as we scale.

**How You'll Make a Difference in this role?**

As the **Business Operations Lead**you'll manage day-to-day operations, lead internal projects, organise events, and foster a positive employee experience, making a valuable impact across all areas of our business.

**On any given day, you might find yourself**:

- Overseeing daily operations and streamlining workflows for smooth and efficient processes
- Managing internal projects and ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Handling administrative tasks and supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Managing external stakeholder and vendor relationships, including overseeing contract reviews, and renewals
- Identifying solutions to improve operational efficiency by analysing data and providing insights to guide the SLT and business actions
- Reviewing HR processes and policies to ensure compliance with best practices
- Organising client events to build relationships and enhance WRC's industry presence
- Representing WRC at industry events and conferences to increase visibility and create valuable connections
- Leading initiatives to drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture
- Coordinating team-building activities and managing onboarding and offboarding processes
- Aligning operational and people strategies with business goals while working closely with senior leaders Promoting a collaborative culture by championing the WRC's values in all interactions clients, vendors and team members

WRC operates in a 'hybrid' environment, enjoying a mix of at-home and at-office work.

Our WRC office days are typically Tuesday and Thursday, and we're located on Collins Street (on the Southern Cross end of the city). Our client offices are located all around Melbourne and Sydney, and many work remotely, so there may be some travel required (although no need to have a car).

**A bit about you**:

- Proven experience in business operations, business administration, or a similar role
- Past experience in running HR processes (previous experience in an HR role highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in streamlining processes and implementing operational best practices
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service agreements
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to operate with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Familiarity with software implementation projects and the ability to drive successful system transitions
