Overview

Business Operations Lead / Executive Assistant role to support the CEO and Head of Business Operations, driving Tennis Victoria strategy to 2027 with a focus on Organisational Governance. The role will be responsible for key governance functions, administrative tasks and facilitating key business operations activities.

Responsibilities
  • Administration and executive assistance to the CEO, Head of Business Operations and the TV executive leadership team.
  • Prepare weekly Executive Team meeting agenda, take notes, record, maintain and track action items.
  • Provide business support for finance and Workday functions — assist in processing invoices, support team members in raising requisitions, reimbursements, expenses, setting up suppliers and timely credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist with governance tasks including Board and committee meeting minute-taking in accordance with constitutional and by-law requirements.
  • Plan and execute TV's Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Special General Meetings, in collaboration with the Profile & Partnerships team.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a mature risk culture within TV.
About You
  • Strong administrative skills and understanding of organisational governance, associated practices and meeting procedures.
  • Previous experience working with an Executive team and board (desirable).
  • Law/Governance, Business Management, Human Resources or other relevant field (desirable).
  • Experience in financial administration, including invoicing, reconciliations, general ledger expense coding and managing debtors (desirable).
  • Experience in effective stakeholder management and communications.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements related to Tennis Victoria.
