**About the Role**
As the Specification Coordinator, you will proactively research and engage with businesses to gain product specifications and sales.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify customer needs and build relationship with _Architects, Designers, Project Managers and Builders_ to maximise the sales value of company products sold.
- Focus on "orders" by providing follow-up to customers to ensure all samples and/or quotes are received and considered.
- Research new project and new account opportunities to gain product specifications and sales.
- Ensure all customer accounts are given the correct technical advice in how to specify our products for their projects.
- Assist in forecasting material and sales for all projects to ensure we have adequate stock available when required.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and build strong relationships.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or a proactive outbound customer service role
- Prior exposure to needs-based selling techniques
- Demonstrated capability in meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Superior telephone etiquette and customer service prowess
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines effectively
