**The Opportunity**
This role is responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of continuous improvements to support safety, quality, reliability, and innovations that could improve output or decrease operating expenditure. This role will also collaborate with project leaders/teams to support operations requirements for design/commissioning/qualification/validation, licensure of the facility, and registration of the manufacturing process for commercial operation.
This role is an ongoing permanent opportunity (Day shift).
The Role:
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, process, and yield improvements for products manufactured within the department
- Track and ensure routine validation and maintenance programs are performed to ensure compliance with current GMP regulations and guidelines
- Monitor established team measurements (KPI's) that support the delivery of the business goals in the areas of Quality, HSE, Financial, Customer Service, and Process Improvement. Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions where needed to correct adverse trends in performance
- Deliver operational procedures and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for Filling operations in accordance with the project schedule. Ensure procedures are current & compliant with current regulatory requirements
To be successful:
- A tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in cGMP manufacturing, within a pharmaceutical production environment
- Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems
- Ability to critically review business plans and make recommendations
- Strong influencing skills / communication skills / team building skills
- Highly motivated / Results Driven / Robust and resilient / proven technical competency
