We are currently seeking a Project Engineer within our Major Projects team based in Dandenong South.

Reporting to the Project Program Manager, you will plan, organise and support engineering projects to ensure appropriate processes, systems, resources and governance structures are in place to meet project objectives. You will coordinate the technical aspects of the project and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure project budgets, timelines and other project performance indicators are met.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of assigned engineering projects

Interpreting stakeholder requirements, and generating specification documents for project deliverables

Developing and managing project budgets, timelines and/or other project performance indicators as required

Proactively identifying project issues, risks and scope changes and initiating the necessary corrective actions

Generating and executing Validation documents to satisfy GMP requirements associated with project deliverables.

Performing Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) risk assessments in association with project deliverables

Ensuring project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications

We are looking for someone who will bring:

Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline

Minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical and GMP experience highly regarded)

Strong project management and planning capabilities

Proven technical expertise with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and sound document management practices

Proactive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
