Lead Academic in Humanities
The position of Lead Academic in Humanities is a leadership role that combines strategic direction with hands-on classroom teaching.
This 2-year fixed-term position involves leading the Faculty of Humanities, establishing and reviewing curriculum, policies, and practices to maintain academic excellence.
Develop and implement effective strategies for driving academic excellence.
Provide leadership and direction for the Faculty, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Mentor and support faculty members in their professional growth.
Oversee assessment processes and student performance improvement strategies.

About the Role
As Lead Academic in Humanities, you will report directly to the Deputy Head of Senior School – Teaching & Learning and work closely with other Heads of Faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and review curriculum, policies, and practices.
Lead, mentor, and support faculty members.
Oversee assessment processes and student performance improvement strategies.
Requirements
Proven experience in educational leadership.
Strong classroom practice informed by current educational research.
Ability to manage resources, interpret data, and lead professional learning.
High-level communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Skills:
Leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire others.
Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation.
